De overtocht naar het fort duurt ongeveer 15 minuten en biedt een mooi uitzicht op het industriële Amsterdam. Het fort zelf is enigszins vervallen, maar heeft nog steeds een interessante charme en er is kunst te bewonderen in sommige kamers. Ik raad deze plek niet aan voor kleine kinderen, aangezien het absoluut geen kindvriendelijke attractie is.
